Corporate Volunteer Programs
Anne Arundel County has a long tradition of corporate and business citizenship.
The Volunteer Center for Anne Arundel County ("VCAAC") supports this tradition by providing resources and expertise that enable
businesses to maximize their impact in the community through service and
philanthropy.
As an affiliate of the Points of Light Foundation & Volunteer Center National Network of nearly
350 Volunteer Centers across the country, the VCAAC helps to
engage more businesses more effectively in volunteer service to help solve
serious social problems.
We connect employees to the community and opportunities to serve, provide
training and technical assistance, and partner with companies in promotional
efforts.
Workplace volunteer programs benefit the community, employees, and ultimately
businesses. Many companies report that volunteering builds employee teamwork
skills, attracts better employees, enhances training, and improves employee
retention.
Anne Arundel County needs more companies - big or small - to answer the call of
those in need in the communities where employees work and live.
Learn how the VCAAC can help you and your company to explore options and reach
your business and community goals.
