Spotlight on the Military
and their Families

Local nonprofits recognize the exceptional skills and knowledge that service members, veterans and their families have to offer our local community.

Volunteering is a remarkably effective way to transition and
integrate into the local community. Meeting new people, increasing social and professional networks and learning about pressing local issues even as you are addressing them are all ways to feel even more connected with others in your area.

It’s also a wonderful way to spotlight and share your knowledge and interests, leadership skills and unique talents or to gain new skills and experience.
