2008 – First Homeless Resource Day - A Huge Success!

The event was a huge success and could not have been accomplished without the assistance of hundreds of volunteers.  The numbers of homeless that received services that day and the number of service providers who had a chance to network together and share resources exceeded our expectations.

We were able to provide 410 adults and children with needed services such as:

  • Hot meals and food to take home

  • 43 Birth Certificates given

  • 149 Housing applications completed

  • 60 MVA photo identification cards
  • 100 Job Information Requests
  • 532 Health Service Encounters
  • 300 volunteers to help make the event successful!
